In these times, when life seems to have sped up on many levels, where much of contemporary art has a combative feel, I invite you to take in the quiet elegance of many of my artist’s works.
To celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Verne Collection, this is the first of many online exhibitions I plan to exhibit over the coming months. This show is about beautiful landscapes created by Japanese printmakers and American artists living in Japan.
In these difficult times, I hope their images convey a feeling of serenity and peace, a rare quality in the art of our time and the world today.
